This is a very popular and very hard-to-find book that features both counted thread and embroidery patterns taken from old motifs and needlework. I was told that the book is Romanian. It is filled with patterns and photos, both black-and-white and color, of counted thread embroideries, freehand embroideries, eyelet embroideries and wool embroideries. Most of the items pictured appear to be household items embellished with the patterns included in the book. This book is a real treasure trove of patterns!
