Crochet More Edgings from Turn-of-the-Century Sources edited by Jules & Kaethe Kliot

The latter half of the nineteenth century reflected great achievements in lace making, with the true hand made laces of bobbin lace and needle lace giving way to the much easier-to-execute techniques of crochet and tape lace. The work of this book is taken from several manuals of crochet designs from the early years and should serve as a valuable resource for the crocheter as well as the historian and collector. The designs come from the following publications: Nun's Crocheted Edgings and Bandings Book 841, 1937; Old & New Designs in Crocheted Towels, Pillow-Cases, Sheets Book 13 by Sophie T. LaCroix, c. 1910; Richardson's Crocheted Edgings and Insertions Book 3, 1916; Edgings & Insertions Bk. 24 by Virginia Snow, c. 1910; Edgings in Crochet with Complete Instructions Book 4 by Adeline Cordet, 1916; Clark's Designs for Edgings, Insertions & Medallions Bk. 9 by Francis A. Harris, 1920; Crochet Work VIth Series, c. 1930; and Novelty Braid, c. 1910.
