Bedfordshire Lace Patterns by Margaret Turner

In this selection of patterns by Mrs. Turner, we see a return to the laces of the second half of the nineteenth century, the original patterns adapted for a new generation of lace-makers who through their own practice of the craft can appreciate the individual qualities of this type of lace and its application to present use. Many of the fine examples of Bedfordshire lace shown in this book were from the work of friends and pupils. Additional prickings are included, including a number not generally available from private collections.
