Included are alphabets from early English samplers, late 16th to mid 17th century, early 18th century English samplers, early 18th century German samplers, mid 18th to early 19th century Scottish samplers, mid to late 18th century American samplers, early 19th century American samplers, late 18th and early 19th century Quaker samplers, both English and American and alphabets from English orphanage samplers of the third quarter of the 19th century. A page of stitch diagrams are also included.
