This website is a work in progress. When I made the decision a year and a half ago to open a "needlework" shop alongside the bookstore, things were a great deal different than they are today. The financial market, among other things, made expanding the business a little harder and a lot scarier. I put the idea in the back of my mind, but was getting more and more emails from needleworkers looking for supplies and spending more and more time trying to locate them. In short, I recognized the need for a true "needlework" shop that carried specialty supplies for a wide range of needlework techniques. So a few months ago, I decided to take the chance, but knew I had to go about expanding the business a little differently. I was not comfortable with just ordering a lot of supplies and hoping they were the ones my customers would want or need. I decided to create a catalog of all the things that I have access to through my suppliers and stock the store according to the needs of my customers. With that in mind, you will see a lot of merchandise in the shop listed as "Special order". I am ordering items weekly and as items are ordered, more and more inventory will be stocked for immediate shipment. Please pay special attention to the Order Processing page as that will explain how the company will operate as it grows. I have only gotten a small portion of the inventory available to me listed on the website, so I will be adding new things often. I sincerely hope that you view this as an opportunity to help create a shop that offers a varied and eclectic inventory. If there are supplies that you are having trouble finding, please email and let me know. I welcome and value your input. My goal is to build a truly unique "needlework" shop to complement the bookstore and to supply you with the best materials for your projects. Needlework is my passion and I hope you will share in that passion with me. I look forward to being of service now and in the future.
